Online fashion retailer Boohoo.com is set to launch a capsule men's wear tailoring range later this year.

The collection, which will be introduced in time for fall 15, will feature four different jackets, trousers and waistcoats, all produced from fabrics sourced in Italy, with a three-piece suit costing under 100 pounds. The British etailer will also introduce more shirts to its assortment, in order to fulfill the growing trend towards smarter dressing.

"This is the first true tailored range we’ve done at Boohoo," said men's wear designer James Pilcher to Drapers. "We've seen menswear getting a lot more tailored; it’s been trending for a while now. With the lower price points, we want to open it up to a younger customer." If the collection proves to be succesful, Boohoo aims to expand thr range for 2016.

The news comes not long after Boohoo revealed plans to sell a trial collection of womenswear on Asos earlier this month in an effort to reach more international customers. Pilcher noted the new men's wear line would also launch on Asos, whose home-collection of men's wear tailoring is said to be doing remarkably well.
