Footwear brand FitFlop has teamed up with British textile-designer Amelia Elstow on a collection of the brand’s bestselling shearling Mukluk boots as part of its Christmas campaign to raise money for charity Refuge.

Elstow has handmade a limited edition collection of 13 pairs, six pairs each of two designs, plus a one of a kind pair, by adding diamante collars, rhinestones and rhodium-plated brass star charms, as well as chunky sparkling Swarovski crystals.

Each pair will go on sale on FitFlop.com on December 10, with 100 percent of the retail price of each pair, starting from 400 pounds, going to support Refuge, the country’s largest single provider of specialist services for women and children escaping domestic violence.

In addition, FitFlop will match 100 percent of sales, with a goal of raising 10,000 pounds in 10 days, as it aims to spread the word, and to raise vital funds for women and children escaping domestic violence this Christmas.

Sandra Horley, chief executive of national domestic violence charity, Refuge said: “Every day Refuge supports 3,000 women and children to escape domestic violence and rebuild their lives. This work would not be possible without the vital support of our incredible partners like FitFlop.

“The money raised by this partnership will enable us to keep the doors to our life-saving and life-changing services open into the future – helping us to reach even more women and children.”
