Sophia Webster launches bridal collection

Everyone’s go-to girl for high heels has now made soon-to-be brides very happy. Sophia Webster’s bridal collection launched last week on Friday, March 20th, 2015. Needless to say, the collection was well worth the hype.

Webster kept all her customers in mind when designing this collection. While every pair of heels includes the phrase “Wifey for Lifey” on the sole, the styles of the shoes are all very different. Both the classic and modern bride were kept in mind for this collection.

For example, the open toe pink strapped sandals are clearly for the very modern girl who is probably thinking about a wedding on the beach. On the other hand, there ivory pumps with crystal embellishments on the toe are perfect for that more classic bride who was looking at having the more traditional fairy tale come true wedding. One of the crown gems to the collection, though, would have to be the candy red open back heels that have small red hearts going up the heel, the perfect shoe for that bride who has a Valentine’s Day wedding planned (or the perfect Valentine’s Day gift from a husband to his wife.)

When asked what exactly inspired this collection, Webster told Footwear News “When I first decided to do bridal shoes I was not yet married, so thinking about what I would wear for my wedding was a great starting point! As the collection was being brought to life I imagined all sorts of women slipping into the shoes and feeling like queens for that special day. With that in mind I wanted to use really feminine touches like satin uppers, crystal heels and gem stones, all in delicate tones that would work with classic dresses but add a little flourish.”

Well, a little imagination can certainly go a long way, because this collection is absolutely fabulous.
