# Supreme Kids # Innovative designs and sustainable premium fashion

Munich, January 2019 – The latest edition of Supreme Kids on January 25th through 27th was rated a definite success by the more than 150 participating exhibitors. The order show recorded strong visitor numbers with an impressive peak on Friday, January 25th. Sustainable kids' fashion was a strong trend besides new and innovative designs with a focus on functionality. The leading industry event for kids' fashion, Supreme Kids provided exhibitors, brands, and buyers a great opportunity to display their collections and network for three days at MTC World of Fashion, House 1. German fashion retailers and their buyer colleagues from neighboring European countries as well as Australia and other international markets were able to view nearly 500 collections. Once again, Munich proved to be a highly attractive trade show location for groundbreaking trends.

Katrin Ternes, Head of Wholesale, IB Company: "We've been presenting our lines REVIEW for Kids and REVIEW for Teens at Supreme Kids in Munich since 2015. The unique opportunity to meet renowned buyers and retailers and make new contacts each season keeps us coming back. Once again, we have some highly promising and interesting talks with industry decision-makers. We also believe in presenting our FW collections in person. In our increasingly digitized world, events like this are an opportunity to let our customers experience our brand identity and new collections in a direct, non-mediated way."

Supreme Kids project leader Sybille Mutschler says: "The show was a great success for our participants. Visitor frequencies were strong, especially on Friday. Supreme Kids continues to be a key meeting point for industry stakeholders. Some dominant trends were innovative designs and sustainable fashion."

Aline Schade, Managing Director, The Supreme Group: "Visitors and customers value continuity and personal presence. We were thrilled by the many lovely products our exhibitors displayed. One again this season, the show proved a great success for visitors and exhibitors."

As in previous seasons, Supreme Kids hosted the Luna Journal Business Talk. At the panel discussion, Fenke Gabriel-Schwan, social media manager at Luna Journal, and industry experts talked about customer retention strategies in the digital age and the challenges of digitization for fashion retailers.

This year’s summer edition of Supreme Kids is scheduled for July 12th through 14th, 2019 at MTC world of fashion, House 1 in Munich (Taunusstraße 45, 80807 Munich). Opening hours: July 12th through 13th, 9 am – 6 pm; July 14th, 9 am – 5 pm.
