Iconic heritage brand Hunter reported 19 percent increase in revenues for the year to December 31, 2015 to 113.7 million pounds (147.8 million dollars) from 95.7 million pounds (124.4 million dollars) in 2014.

Sales in the US rose 33 percent year on year. But adjusted EBITDA declined from 15.6 million pounds (20.2 million dollars) in 2014 to 14.1 million pounds (18.3 million dollars), which the company said was because of the heavy investments in its London flagship store and outlet store in Bicester Village, along with online platforms and IT systems.

Hunter’s Chief Executive Officer Vincent Wauters, who joined the company in February this year, said that after reporting positive growth momentum in the last three years, the it is all set to become a global lifestyle brand.

The company aims to further make investments in expanding the product categories on offer by introducing new styles in footwear, outerwear and accessories. Its second global flagship store in Tokyo opened in March 2016 and keeping the positive response to its range in sight, Hunter is looking forward to establishing the brand’s presence in this country.
