Van de Velde says turnover growth stable in FY16

In its interim update, ahead of announcing its full year results on February 20, Van de Velde has said that its sales on like-for-like basis including comparable season deliveries remained stable at 206.7 million euros (217 million dollars).

The company’s turnover at constant exchange rate increased by 1.2 percent but declined by 1.1 percent on reported basis from 209 million euros (220 million dollars ) to 206.6 million euros (217 million dollars). The company said while wholesale turnover grew by 3.4 percent, retail turnover on a like-for-like basis at constant exchange rates increased by 3.5 percent in Europe and declined by 20.2 percent in the US.
