Zumiez February net sales up 11.6 percent

Net sales at Zumiez, for the four-week period ended February 28, 2015 increased 11.6 percent to 54 million dollars, compared to 48.4 million dollars for the four-week period ended March 1, 2014. The company's comparable store sales increased 6.9 percent for the period under review against a comparable store sales increase of 2 percent in the year ago period.

Zumiez is a retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, focusing on skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, motocross and BMX for young men and women. As of February 28, 2015, it operated 604 stores, including 550 in the United States, 35 in Canada, and 19 in Europe.
