ASBCI Annual Industry Conference and Dinner 2009

The forum for clothing and textiles ASBCI is hosting its Annual Industry Conference and Dinner 2009 on Tuesday 19th May at the Dunchurch Park Hotel. This year the conference will discuss ‘The Crude CO2st of Fashion’, addressing fashion’s economic and energy challenges'.

Financial and energy experts will join speakers from the retail, clothing manufacture, global logistics and cleaning sectors to offer delegates proactive and positive retail, manufacture, logistics and energy strategies for dealing with the current economic and energy crises.

The final speaker line-up includes Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, the National Grid, the UK Petroleum Industry Association, Brandix Lanka, Sainsbury’s, Tesco Stores, Drapers, Advanced, Kuehne & Nagel, Lenzing Fibres, the Textile Care Company and the Health & Safety Executi.

Formed in 1992 the ASBCI is regarded as one of the most active and diverse clothing industry forum. The cost of the one-day conference is £195 +VAT for ASBCI members and £255 +VAT for non-members.
