Balenciaga may open London boutique

London could possibly find itself another fashion boutique richer, if the rumours circulating are true. Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of Balenciaga, is thought to be sourcing the capital for a store on Mount Street, the Mayfair street that has Marc Jacobs, Luella and beauty brand Aesop as it's neighbours.

A Balenciaga store in London would add to stand-alone boutiques in Milan, which Ghesquière unveiled in June, Paris and New York. A spokesman for the brand confirmed that Balenciaga was planning to open a store in London, but declined to reveal its exact location.
