The British Fashion Council is teaming up with eBay, for a second season to open its BFC Contemporary Shop, an online pop-up celebrating the autumn/winter 2015 edition of London Fashion Week.

The online boutique will carry limited edition accessories by designers who feature as part of the BFC’s Contemporary initiative: Alexis Barrell, Georgia Hardinge, Paper London and Zoë Jordan. Each designer has created a clutch bag and a silk scarf, and all items are priced under 100 pounds.

The pop-up, which will also feature official London Fashion Week merchandise, such as a tote bag, will only be open for a limited time from February 20 until March 11.

BFC chief executive Caroline Rush said: “The second season of BFC Contemporary’s inaugural year brilliantly showcases the diversity and talent associated with the UK’s fashion industry. The designers’ scarves and clutches demonstrate originality and excellence setting the bar high for the future recipients of BFC Contemporary sponsored by eBay.”

Melanie Smallwood, head of curation and merchandising at Ebay, added: “We are delighted to announce the return of the BFC Contemporary Shop to eBay.co.uk. This season, we will offer style-hunters an inspiring capsule collection of accessories that reflects each designer’s unique aesthetic providing something for all fashion appetites.”
