British fashion label Jigsaw is preparing to make its London Fashion Week debut next month as is gears up for a new store opening in London's West End.

The brand is set to host its first London Fashion Week show within its stand alone boutique, The Shop at Bluebird on Friday, September 16. At the sametime, Jigsaw revealed plans for the opening of a new emporium store in St James's Market.

"We are marching ahead with all of our plans to expand the brand despite post-Brexit concerns in the economy," commented Peter Ruis, CEO of Jigsaw in a statement. "We’ve thought about showcasing at LFW for a couple of seasons, and now that our A line is fully immersed into our seasonal collections, have decided that this is the perfect time to launch the collection on the fashion week platform."

The debut Jigsaw AW'16 LFW show aims to incorporate a "see now, buy now" business mode, which allows consumers the freedom to purchase items shown in the event directly after the show. In addition, Jigsaw will live-stream the show to it followers online via Facebook and through its website. "We will show the collection with a ‘see it, buy it, wear it’ event," added Ruis. "Jigsaw A line is now into its third season and as ever represents the finest fabrics and manufacturing techniques the world can offer."

The LFW event comes ahead of the new store opening in early October. Jigsaw will open the doors of its new emporium at St James's Market Development, the 400 million joint venture between The Crown Estate and Oxford Properties. "This will be a 3,000 square foot emporium combining both Jigsaw and The Shop at Bluebird brands, a new development originally launched so successfully two years ago at our Duke Street Emporium. It’s unique in its design using terrazzo marble, with a floating mezzanine, and will be our most luxurious statement to date."

The new store opening is one of the four UK standalone stores Jigsaw will be opening this autumn.
