British high street retailer Marks and Spencer has confirmed that it is partnering with Graduate Fashion Week, which takes place in June, for the events 25th anniversary.

As part of the partnership, Marks and Spencer will be hosting live talks and competitions with Graduate Fashion Week, as well as sponsoring the womenswear award, which will see the high street chain awarding the winning graduate 5,000 pounds and 1,000 pounds to the winners university.

A spokesperson for Marks and Spencer said: “Graduate Fashion Week provides a unique platform to present the best of British and international fashion graduates to the world. In addition, Graduate Fashion Week has also confirmed that department store group Debenhams will be sponsoring this year’s menswear award.

Graduate Fashion Week takes place from June 5 to 8, at the Old Truman Brewery in East London. More than 10,000 students from 40 UK and 11 international universities will present their collections.
