London - COS, the stylish sister brand to H&M, has teamed up with Mr Porter once more to create a curated capsule collection.

The COS x Mr Porter, also known as The Art of Everyday, is a 35 piece capsule line which aims to offer basic, yet functional wardrobe essentials, such as knitwear, shirts and trousers as well as outerwear. The collection will also include footwear as well as travel bags and is set to launch later today on Mrporter.com.

“We have selected core pieces from the main COS range, and curated a key edit for Mr Porter,” said Martin Andersson, COS head of men’s wear design to WWD. “Every piece has an exclusive element: fabric, color, design elements. The collection is underpinned by two core trends — Every Day Decadence and Future Vision. Decadent fabrics and a feeling of richness are inspired by artist Lynette Boakye’s paintings contrasted against sporty technical nylons and polyester.”

The collection will feature pieces with clean lines and simple, yet sharp silhouettes which have been influenced by the Swedish label’s minimalist aesthetic. Prices for the collection are set to range from 45 dollars for a T-shirt to 350 dollars for a coat. The capsule range will hit stores on Mrporter.com, cosstores.com and in COS stores on October 27.

The capsule range marks the second time the online fashion retailer has worked together with COS and builds on from their previous collaboration the Modern Traveller, which was revealed last year.
