Swarovski supports BFA ‘09

Crystal specialist Swarovski will support the British Fashion Awards 2009 that is taking place on 9th December 2009. The ceremony recognizes the most influential people in fashion and will celebrate British fashion over the last 25 years.

Taking place at the Royal Courts of Justice the British Fashion Awards is attended by 500 industry leaders, celebrities, designers, retailers, models and journalists. There are 11 awards that will include the 25th Designer of the Year, Menswear Designer, Model, Designer Brand and the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator. Having been title sponsor of the BFA’s for four years, Swarovski is once again supporting two awards, which recognise and financially reward emerging design talent with the Swarovski Emerging Talent Awards for ready to wear and for accessories.

Last years winners included Luella Bartley as Designer of the Year, Matthew Williamson took home the Swarovski Emerging Talent RTW, Stephen Jones won BFC Award for Outstanding Achievement and the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator went to Tim Walker.
