Calvin Klein appoints new COO

Calvin Klein has appointed Leonardo Minerva chief operating officer of the brand’s Collection, and its Italian division, effective today.

With over 25 years’ experience, he most recently served as director of Industrial Strategy at Kering-owned YSL in Paris, where he oversaw all strategies and activities of the industrial supply chain worldwide. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Fendi and Procter & Gamble.

Minerva will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Milan and Trento offices. He will also manage the manufacturing, sourcing, product development and vendor relationships for Calvin Klein Collection worldwide, including the brand’s atelier in New York City and the Retail Outlet business in Europe.

He will be based out of the company’s European headquarters in Milan and will report directly to Michelle Kessler-Sanders, newly appointed president of Calvin Klein Collection, based in New York
