Holger Thiesse, Senior Vice President and Head of Lifestyle at Esprit, is quitting the fashion company after a fourteen year stint. According to Esprit, Thiesse is leaving ‘to focus on other projects’.

Thiesse joined the company, which is headquartered in both Hong Kong and Germany, in 2002. His first assignment was to launch a bodywear brand. The division did so well that the company now counts it among one of its ‘most stable and successful areas’ within Esprit.

In 2014, Thiesse was asked to reorganise and develop Esprit Sports and, the following year, he was promoted to his current position of Head of Lifestyle.

Once Thiesse leaves the firm, his responsibilities will be divided among three executives. Ute Wethmat will run the Bodywear and Sports lines, while Beate Köhler has already taken on the Accessories and Shoes categories. Maria Pambori will become Head of Global License/Product.

Paula Dumont is taking over the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Lifestyle. She was previously Head of Womenswear for the company.
