Swedish fashion chain H&M has opened its first flagship store in Taiwan. The store in Breeze Song Gao was welcomed by more than 1,200 fans, who were entertained with DJs and an H&M employee-led choreographed performance.
The flagship store offers the retailer’s full range of clothing, underwear and accessories for men, women, kids and babies, as well as its H&M Home concept, and it will also sell its exclusive H&M 2015 Chinese New Year collection.
Magnus Olsson, H&M country manager of Greater China, said: "We have been drumming up for this very special day for quite a while, and this morning, it is absolutely overwhelming to see the fantastic response from our customers! We are determined to bring a unique fashion experience that will amaze customers in Taiwan.
“We hope the people will enjoy our quality designs from the 230 H&M in-house designers at the very best price, and hope that the H&M flagship store in Breeze Song Gao will be the new gleaming shopping destination in the city of Taipei."
