Louise Amstrup takes prize

Designer Louise Amstrup has been named the winner of the On|Off Visionary Award 2010. The Danish born

designer spent most of her youth in Germany and completed her studies in Duesseldorf. She graduated in 2003 from Akadamie Modedesign, when she was awarded with the 'Graduate Talent' prize.

The budding designer will showcase her spring/summer 2011 collection at the innovative fashion showcase during London Fashion Week in September at On|Off. This year’s judging panel featured On|Off founder Lee Lapthorne and special guest judge, Browns Focus buyer, Jemma Dyas.

Amstrup had the opportunity to work with several designers such as late Alexander McQueen, Jonathan Saunders and Alistair Carr.
