H&M February sales increase 15 percent

The H&M Group’s sales including VAT increased by 15 percent in local currencies in February 2015 compared to the same month, previous year. In the first quarter, from December 1, 2014 to February 28, 2015, sales increased by 15 percent including VAT in local currencies compared to the corresponding quarter last year.

Sales in the first quarter converted into Swedish krona increased by 25 percent and amounted to 46,791 million Swedish krona (5,383.3 million dollars) including VAT. Sales excluding VAT amounted to 40,276 million Swedish krona (4,634.4 million dollars)).

The total number of stores amounted to 3,551 as on February 28, 2015 against 3,192, same month, last year. Percentage sales development for the month of March will be published on April 15, 2015.
