UK monthly magazine Elle has teamed up with high street retailer Reiss for its Designer

Breakthrough Competition. The publication is calling on all designers, illustrators and artists to design a motif in two colours, to the theme of ‘British Style’ that will be produced onto a limited-edition vest for summer 2012.

Previously, ELLE has produced exclusive prints by designers such as Antonio Berardi and Paul Smith, and last year’s vest was designed by photographer Garance Doré.

For 2012, the magazine has decided to champion a new name, and all you have to do is upload a jpeg file of your ‘British Style’ design via ELLEuk.com/designerbreakthrough by 9 January, 2012.
