Following the sudden death of L'Wren Scott last year, the British subsidiary of the label founded by the late designer is currently being dissolved.

Files from the Companies House reveal that the label's director John Hoffman applied to have LS Fashion Limited taken off the government controlled register last month, according to the Telegraph.

Hoffman took over as director for the label in May 2014, two months after the death of the designer. Following her death last year, speculation arose claiming the designer has plans to fold her label after being faced with mounting losses, but brand representatives have denied these claims, stating that the long-term plans for the label's business were "encouraging."

At the time of L'Wren's death, LS Fashion Limited had reportedly losses totalling 3.5 million pounds, which were said to be reflective of a loan from the brand's parent company in the US. The most recent records show a deficit of over 6.5 million pounds.
