French Vogue relaunches website

With the digital age well and truly upon us, today sees the re-launch of the French Vogue

website.

Editor Emmanuelle Alt says, ‘is not about a re-design or facelift, it's a full-force entry into a new and quickly evolving digital world."

At first glance, it seems that the new look website has taken its cues from the fashion bloggers on platforms such as Tumblr, with up to the minute pictures posts and infinite scrolling.

But Alt confirms that any digital expansion is not to be taken as a sign that the future of the magazine itself is under threat. Quite the opposite. "I think it's absurd to think that the magazine could be replaced by the website," she says.
