Jeweller H Stern to open first European store

H Stern, the luxury Brazilian jeweller, has announced that it is to

open its first European standalone store on London’s Sloane Street.

Currently the brand operates in 12 countries worldwide, though the majority of its retail spaces are concessions within department stores and airports, and this move will be the company’s first owned and operated standalone boutique in  Europe.

It has been reported that the luxury jewellery has paid a £1m premium to secure the boutique, which is currently occupied by fashion retailer Browns, and is expect to move in after Browns has relocating to the southern end of Sloane Street.

Other newcomers to the upmarket shopping area includes New York contemporary ladies and menswear brand, Rag & Bone, which is scheduled to open its first European flagship this summer on Sloane Square opposite Tiffany & Co.
