Bottega Veneta posted a growth of 50 percent in the second quarter of 2012.

The Italian luxury leather goods house saw its turnover soar to 212 million Euros, up 50.2 percent compared to the same period in 2011. Total sales in the  first six months of the year sales reached 430 million Euros, up by 44.3 percent,  with operating income at 130 million Euros, up by 58.4 percent compared to 2011.

President and CEO Marco Bizzarri stated that the company was satisfied  with the results for the first half of the year, and that despite a  competitive and uncertain external setting in continuous evolution, sales continue to increase. The company is rewarded through daily  efficiency, together with maintenance of principal strategies and Made in Italy quality fundamentals.
