Aquascutum to launch web boutique

Aquascutum plans to start selling online next month to boost its sales. The site will offer clothing

and accessories as well as the premium Collection range that is shown at London Fashion Week.

Chief executive Belinda Earl said she expected the website’s sales to exceed those of the Regent Street store.

High street retailers including New Look and Marks & Spencer will take part in a fashion show on Friday that seeks to showcase women who look like real shoppers rather than ‘size zero’ models. The Look show, which will take place at the Saatchi gallery in Chelsea, will  include size 14 models.
