Asprey x Philip Treacy

Philip Treacy returned to the London Fashion Week catwalk after a 12 year hiatus.

The fashion milliner showed his SS13 collection at the Royal Courts of Justice, with his hats worn by models in the wardrobe of the late Michael Jackson.

Equally spectacular is perhaps Treacy's collaboration with luxury jeweller Asprey. Together the two companies have created a limited edition piece in the form of a Christmas cracker.

Inside the cracker, in addition to a pop-up hat, confetti and jokes, the signature of the British designer is engraved on a silver thimble.

But only one of the 80 Christmas crackers will contain a voucher for a custom-made hat designed by Treacy.

The limited edition will be on sale from November.
