Jigsaw is to expand its womenswear offer by trialing

new designer brand concessions at some of its own operated stores.

Brands including Yanny London, Part Two and Bourne Collection will be available at several stores, according to Drapers.

Concessions specialist Hallett Retail is understood to be organising the roll-out which will initially launch in a small selection of its boutiques such as Manchester and Leeds.

“There will be small drops as far as Christmas and they will see how it goes and perhaps roll it out further next year. It’s a suck-it-and-see kind of thing at the moment," the source said.

In December last year Jigsaw’s parent company Robinson Webster Holdings posted a pre-tax profit of 1.6 million pounds for the year to September 29, 2012, on the back of a pre-tax loss of almost 21.2 million pounds the prior year.
