Online Fashion Awards 2011

Together with Spanish fashion brand Medwinds, e-shop handbag.com is launching the Online

Fashion Awards 2011. The ceremony will celebrate all things fashion online, including products, site’s usability, design and special online features.

handbag.com readers can nominate their favourite fashion website, and the top 50 nominees will then be passed onto a panel of industry experts. The Awards feature various categories such as Best High Street Site, Best Green Fashion Site, Best International Blog, and Best User Friendly Site. handbag.com readers have the final vote to decide which fashion website is category winner and overall Handbag Online Fashion Award Winner 2011. Those who vote get the chance to win a weekend at London Fashion Week in September and vouchers to spend at ASOS.

The jury will exist of Jemma Dyas, Head Buyer for ASOS.COM Marketplace; Keeley Stocker, Drapers Online Editor; Leon Bailey Green, Founder of The Online Fashion Agency; Jackie Dixon, Photographer, Stylist and Founder of showmeyourwardrobe.com ; handbag.com Editor, Rebecca Holman; and Fashion and Beauty Director, Fumni Fetto. They will go through the websites and decide the shortlist of six nominees per category.

Launched in February 2011, Medwinds is a new European fashion label and the first brand to sell its own quality designs exclusively online. handbag.com is dedicated to women’s lifestyle and attracts over 1.5 million visitors a month.
