Vero Moda launches swimwear

Danish retailer Vero Moda is extending its collections with a swimwear range into the UK.

The new line will be available at the end of April. The range features several beach styles below, and include a Little Black Dress, a red gingham bikini, a two-piece white bikini, a classic blue & white stripe design, and a leopard print design.

The ranges come in sizes A-F for the under wired padded bikini tops. All other bikini tops such as the triangle tops are available in size from S-XL and the briefs are available from S-Xl. The swimwear will be available on ASOS from the end of April onwards.

Vero Moda was started by Troels Holch Povlsen in 1987. Headquartered in Brande, Vero Moda has a strong position in Germany, China, the Netherlands, Central Europe and the Middle East. More recent markets are the UK, France and Canada. The fashion brand is part of the Bestseller group, and focuses on affordable young women’s fashion. It currently features four design lines Vero Moda, Vero Moda Jeans, Vero Moda Very, and Vero Moda Basic.

The Bestseller group is a 100% family-owned Denmark founded company in 1975 by Merete Bech Povlsen and Troels Holch Povlsen. It focuses on affordable young women’s fashion under the brands Jack&Jones, Name It, Mamalicious, Object Collector’s item, Only, Outfitters Nation, Pieces, Selected, Vila Clothes, and of course Vero Moda. Bestseller’s products are sold in 46 markets in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Canada. Its turnover in 2009/10 was E 1.961 million.
