London Fashion Week designer Jonathan Saunders is to introduce his debut eyewear collection after signing a five-year deal with Australian

manufacturer Sunshades Eyewear.

The 29-piece sunglasses collection will be available from February 2015 and will incorporate the Scottish designer’s use of colour and print, as well as feature the rounded ‘Max’ aviator-style frames that appeared in his spring/summer 2015 catwalk show in September. Other styles will feature black frames and blue lenses and retro-inspired gold frames with dark amber lenses.

Sunshades Eyewear has been around for the past forty years and has grown into an international licensor and distributor of fashion eyewear selling in excess of 3 million pairs of sunglasses a year in over 30 countries.

The Sunshades Eyewear portfolio features designers including House of Holland, Karen Walker, Preen and Sophie Hulme, as well as brands such as Seafolly and Minkpink.
