at Bella Center we are busy with preparations for the 37th edition of CIFF. We are building on the successful initiatives from the February event to further strengthen CIFF’s layout, structure and professional content and we are pleased to announce our continued collaboration with the other Copenhagen fashion fairs, the winner of Fashion Shop of the Year 2011, Bella Sky hotel and trends & shows.

The fashion platform
Together with the Copenhagen fashion fairs CPH Vision, Terminal 2, Gallery and the trade association Dansk Fashion & Textile, CIFF is continuing the work of strengthening and drawing together Copenhagen Fashion Week.

This means a continuation of positive initiatives such as the shuttle service between all four fairs and a joint information desk in Copenhagen airport during the upcoming fashion week.

Fashion shop of the year 2011
The trade magazine TØJ is holding a competition to find Denmark’s best fashion shop in 2011, with the winner to be announced on the opening day of CIFF. During the coming months, TØJ’s readers can nominate the shop they think should be in the race to win Fashion Shop of the Year 2011. From among the nominations received, TØJ’s panel of judges will decide on the winner based on the criteria interior shop design, shop concept and ‘wow’ effect. The award will be presented on stage in the pej gruppen trend lounge in the Centre Hall on Thursday, 4 August at 1.00 p.m.and with the award comes a travel voucher for an inspiration visit to London. The travel voucher has a value of DKK 10,000 to cover flight tickets and two nights’ hotel accommodation for two people.

Trends & shows
CIFF is the only trade fair that will be presenting the trends that will form the fashion framework for the spring/summer 2012 season. Once again, leading trend agency Peclers Paris will be providing all the latest trend description input to CIFF and CIFFKIDS.

The trend description input will contribute to the general expression in the halls and at the same time serve as inspiration for the great trend shows which again this year are an integral part of both CIFF and CIFFKIDS.
