Apple hires LVMH fashion exec

If there is any proof needed that tech companies benefit from fashion executives, Apple is once again in the headlines.

Less than a year after it announced the appointment of former Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts, Apple has lured LVMH executive Patrick Pruniaux, vice president of sales at luxury brand Tag Heuer.

This makes the third executive that Apple has poached from fashion after Yves Saint Laurent CEO Paul Deneve was also hired.

According to sources, Apple is focusing on its fashion credentials of its wearable technology. Perhaps they've learned from the unfortunate reception of Google Glass that people who wear a piece of technology also want to look good wearing it, too.
