CFDA welcomes new members

The Council of Fashion Designers of America’s board has added new members including fashion

stylist-turned-designer Rachel Zoe. The organisation, a not-for-profit trade association represents more than 400 of America’s foremost fashion and accessory designers, and last week they admitted 26 new members.

The CFDA's new additions include: Rachel Zoe, Joseph Altuzarra of Altuzarra, Lisa Perry, Tabitha Simmons, Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, Pamela Love, Tadashi Shoji, Yvan Mislepaere of DvF, Jeffrey Monteiro of Bill Blass, Emily Current and Meritt Elliott of Current/Elliott, LeAnn Nealz of Juicy Couture, Coomi Bhasin of Coomi, Jean-Michel Cazabat, and Jana Matheson of Judith Leiber.

In addition to the new members, the CFDA has also extended Diane von Furstenberg's run as president for another two years, she has been in the role since 2009.
