Couture week looks forward to Schiaparelli

As Paris men's fashion week will come to a close, Couture week will begin. The most eagerly awaited show

of the couture season will be that of Schiaparelli, who's brand is now under creative leadership of Marco Zanini.

More than 40 years after the death of Elsa Schiaparelli, the esteemed fashion house, which once rivaled Coco Chanel, is being revived since its 2007 purchase by the head of Tod's Group, Diego Della Valle.

Schiaparelli is well known for her penchant for shocking pink, and who can forget her hats, lobster.

The haute couture section of fashion week kicks off on Sunday, and prior to that, menswear will be showcased for five days, amid more and more interest.
