Although the overall European online job offers in the past year (2012) has

decreased, FashionUnited’s job board for the fashion industry showed an increase in the online job offers of 50% compared to 2011. Currently there are more than 7,500 jobs for fashion professionals online on various FashionUnited platforms.

More and more fashion companies and fashion professionals find their way to the international job board for the fashion industry. Over 70% of the top 100 fashion companies use the job board to post their vacancies, last year the number of visitors increased over 30% compared to 2011. FashionUnited expects the fashion industry to further centralize the job offers and expects an increase in the online job offers of 35% in 2013 within Europe.

The increase in the number of job postings and visitors was an important argument to renew and improve the job board. The new FashionUnited job board includes renewed categories and advanced search options. New search paths include date, keywords and category. Furthermore, search results can be ordered, making it easier to find relevant jobs.

The new job board provides recruiters with a critical vehicle for hiring talent in the international fashion industry. Adding a location to vacancies will increase visibility to their vacancies, creating more overall functionality and usability on the international fashion job market.
