J. Crew Q3 preliminary revenue up 11.3 percent

Crew revenue increased 11.3 percent compared to the two months ended September 29, 2012. Comparable company sales increased 4.3 percent and direct net sales increased 20.7 percent. The company’s third quarter ending November 2, 2013, is not yet complete.

J. Crew is based in New York. It is a multi-channel retailer of women’s, men’s and children’s apparel and accessories. As of October 5, 2013, the company operated 313 retail stores. For the third quarter ending November 2, 2013, revenues are estimated to increase in the range of high-single to low-double digits from last year.
