Jean Paul Gaultier to launch streetwear line

French designer Jean Paul Gaultier is to launch a younger

streetwear collection for Autumn Winter 2013-14. The new line will be unveiled in June next year and will consist of both men's and womenswear.

The move follows a new licensing agreement with Italian clothing company Ittierre SpA.

The streetwear line will reflect Gaultier's signature "sartorial" style and will be "close to the history of Ittierre and to the consumer", said Ittierre general director Alessandro Locatelli. The manufacturing business has previously produced young collections for brands including Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana.
