Jil Sander returns to her eponymous label

The Jil Sander Group has confirmed that Jil Sander is set to return

to her eponymous label as Creative Director, replacing Raf Simons who is stepping down as of February 27, after the women’s autumn/winter 2012 collection is presented in Milan.

Jil Sander who founded the fashion label in 1968, resigned in 2004, and will take up her position effective February 28. The Belgian designer, who joined Jil Sander in July 2005, is rumoured to be replacing John Galliano at Dior.
