British online apparel company N Brown has appointed Andy Haywood as its chief information officer (CIO), as the company continues to

growth and expand into new markets.

Haywood is set to become part of the operating board and will oversee all of N Brown brands. He will also be responsible for the clothing specialist's system renewal project to support its expansion as well as IT. He is set to directly report to Angela Spindler, chief executive officer at N Brown.

Prior to becoming part of the N Brown team, he held the same role at Co-op as well as at Boots, where he guided the group's technology transformation plan. “Andy is without doubt one of the most respected CIO’s in the market today,” commented Spindler on Haywood's new appointment to Retail Week.

“He has considerable experience in senior group roles in all aspects of IT and business change across numerous sectors. I feel sure his appointment will underpin our ambition to transform, modernise and grow the business going forward. I am delighted to welcome him to the team.”
