New additions to Desigual's Board of Directors

Eurazeo's executives have been officially appointed to the Board of Directors at Desigual. According to the company's filing to

the Mercantile Registry of Barcelona in early September, Virginie Morgon and Tieleman Frans will be joining the board immediately.

As reported by the Spanish journal ‘Economía Digital’, Eurazeo, a French investment firm which took a 10 percent stake in Spanish fashion retailer Desigual for 300 million euros earlier this summer, has secured two seats with the fashion company's Board of Directors.

Virginie Morgon, the director general of Eurazeo Capital, and Tieleman Frans, executive committee member of the French capital firm, are now members of the executive board of Desigual.

Marcello Bottoli, Javier Ferran and Pierre Cuilleret have also been confirmed as external directors to the Board.

It is noteworthy that Bottoli is the former CEO of Louis Vuitton and Samsonite, and that he also served previously as interim CEO of Pandora. Currently, he is a partner at Advent International, an American investment firm.

On a separate note, Desigual's founder and Chairman Thomas Meyer and its COO Manel Jadraque, will retain the company's reigns.
