Reiss is to launch an Archive Collection to celebrate its 40th anniversary this autumn.

Creative director James Spreckley told Drapers the line will be a “celebration of Reiss’s DNA”.

“It will feature fabrics and silhouettes that have performed well for us, but with a modern twist,” he said. The retailer has also teamed up with UK mill Alfred Brown to launch a menswear collection, which will feature three suits as well as waistcoats.

Reiss has also formed a menswear collaboration with UK mill Alfred Brown for AW14, as it looks to capitalise on strong spring sales.

Reiss intends to introduce monthly drops from spring 2015 and will trial it in the run-up to Christmas. “Customers want constant newness,” said founder Reiss.

Reiss is a UK fashion company owned by its founder, David Reiss. The company operates 65 stores, located primarily in the UK, but with stores in the USA, Ireland, UAE, China and Malaysia.
