Italian fashion house Valentino has opened its first men's only

flagship store in the world in the French capital of fashion, Paris.

The flagship store is located at 273 Rue Saint Honoré and is the first retail space to showcase the new store concept created by British architect David Chipperfield. The store features a unique made-to-measure service, which offers its customer the opportunity to customizes any garment of their choosing.

The Parisian flagship store share similar traits and characteristics with other new women's boutiques designed by Chipperfield in NewYork, Paris, Milan and Beverly Hills, but in more 'timeless' approach, reported WWD.

The store's ground floor is dedicated to men's accessories, footwear and leather goods, the key staples of Valentino's male collection which have been doing well over the past years and currently account for nearly half of the men's business. The second floor features the made-to-measure counters, alongside ready-to-wear collections and runway looks.

Valentino is the newest label to open a store on the prospering street in Paris, which over the past years has seen brands such as Chloé, Balenciaga and Tom Ford set up shop. The Italian fashion house is currently searching for other retail locations to open more men’s-only stores in a number of cities including London and Milan.
