London-based talent launch pad, Vauxhall Fashion Scout, has announced that

it is relaunching as Fashion Scout, The International Showcase.

The platform for emerging designers, which showcases bi-annually in London and Paris, and counts the likes of Peter Pilotto, Felder Felder, William Tempest and David Koma among its alumni, is developing the scheme internationally with plans to host collective showcases in China, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia.

For its 14th season, Fashion Scout will introduce new international names including Chinese designer Yifang Wan, who has just been awarded the Fashion Scout Merit Award and will debut her autumn/winter 2013 collection during London Fashion Week at Freemason’s Hall. There will also be a showcase that includes the very best in upcoming international design talent from Kiev and Istanbul.

Commenting on the developments, Fashion Scout director, Martyn Roberts said: "This is an exciting leap forward for Fashion Scout. The UK produces some of the most creative fashion talent in the world, and Fashion Scout will always show the best of them, but there is also a generation of fantastic new talent coming through from other countries.

“Whilst Fashion Scout's aim stays the same - to show the best creative fashion talents - our vision is now global.”
