Christopher Bailey receives Honorary Doctorate

Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey

has been given an Honorary Doctorate by his former university, the Royal College of Art.

Bailey, who graduated from RCA with a Masters in Womenswear in 1994, received his Honorary Doctorate at the RCA graduate ceremony held at the Royal Albert Hall last week.

This is not Bailey’s first academic honour, the designer also has two honorary doctorates, one from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011, and one from University of Westminster, where he studied for his BA, in 2004. He was also awarded an honorary fellowship from the RCA in 2004.
