Luxury label Ports 1961 is set to unveil its first handbag and accessories line for Autumn/Winter 2014 designed

by its creative director Fiona Cibani.

The standalone line is called 'No. 10 Bag', in homage to the brand's classic white 'Blouse No. 10', and will feature four styles to be released in different colours and materials.

"We are recognized as a ready-to-wear brand, and until now we did accessories to complete the look," Ports 1961 general manager Salem Cibani told WWD. "With this launch, we aim to introduce a standalone collection of bags, which will be clean, minimal yet elegant, extremely functional and with an incredible high quality."

The collection, which will be made in Italy and cost from 820 to 2,187 dollars, will be unveiled in February at Banner, a Milan-based luxury boutique and at the brand's flagships in New York and Paris.

In addition to the new accessories line, the label is also planning to release a new version of its Blouse No. 10, which will retail for 820 dollars. The brand also announced a new Ports 1961 flagship in Shanghai and a new boutique in Hong Kong. Both new stores will be designed by Toronto-based design firm Yabu Pushelberg.

In the interview with WWD, Cibani also added that the luxury label has plans to expand with new locations in London, Milan and New York, as well as refurbish its current stores in Paris and New York with new concepts.
