Womenswear chain Fenn Wright Manson has fallen into

administration.

Zolfo Cooper has been appointed to find a buyer, and reported that the retailer was feeling financial pressures due to declining consumer spending and a difficult consumer environment.

The retailer - which operates out of 17 stores, 62 concessions and has 350 staff - will continue to trade while the search for a buyer continues.

Fenn Wright Manson was established in 1974 and was once a leading occasionwear brand for women. The three founders - Colin Fenn, Trevor Wright and Glynn Manson, shared a vision to create stylish clothes that made women look good effortlessly.
