The New West End Company, the consortium responsible for the management
and promotion of London’s Bond Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street retail areas, has announced that it has already attracted 35 new store openings this year as it continues to cement its position as a “leading international shopping destination”.London’s West End, which is already home to some of the biggest UK and International names such as Topshop, Selfridges and Liberty, has attracted a number of brands including Fendi, Montblac and Moynat, with the most recent openings being the Simple Be and Jacamo flagship store, which opened last week.
In addition, the key shopping streets across the West End are also expecting a further 19 stores to open by the end of 2015, including Victoria Beckham and Michael Kors. When you add up the stores that have already opened with the future openings it will equate to almost 200,000 square foot of retail space rejuvenate the West End shopping districts.
