Isabel Marant to open UK store

No doubt to the great excitement of London’s fashion crowd, Parisian designer Isabel Marant

has announced plans to open a standalone boutique in Mayfair, London.

To be situated on Bruton Street, already home to a stellar list of designer stores – Stella McCartney, Matthew Williamson, Maison Margiela – the Marant store will occupy what is currently the 3,500 sq ft Halcyon Gallery.

Although a date hasn’t been yet confirmed, it’s a move for the ever popular designer to capitalise on her UK following. This store opening follows on from new outlets in Beijing and Beirut and looks to set to be part of an expansion plan.
