Accessorize set to launch new website

Fashion brand Monsoon has teamed up with e-commerce

provider Venda to create a new website for its accessory brand Accessorize.

The company has made the launch of a standalone website its top priority for planned future growth and expansion in the European and the US markets.

Steve Back, Chief Commercial Officer of Monsoon and Accessorize, said: “Venda has ensured that this new site creates an online experience similar to walking into an Accessorize store. The brand is known for offering an ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ of exciting accessories, so the challenge is to replicate this shopping haven as closely as we can online.”

He continued: “Cracking the US market was also a priority and Venda’s experience of the complex US tax, delivery and payment system was an added factor in delivering the site into a tough and competitive market.”

The new Accessorize website will include dynamic navigation and flash and behavioural merchandising – features successfully tried and tested by Monsoon on its own website for the past three years. Venda will be responsible for maintaining, hosting, upgrades and system integrations on the site.
