Jeremy Scott puts the 'fast' in fashion with his Moschino debut

American designer Jeremy Scott, who is known for his fun-take

on fashion which is usually heavily peppered with pop and trash culture influences, served up a colorful debut as creative director for Italian fashion house Moschino last night during Milan fashion week.

His Fall/Winter 2014 collection for the label was a mash-up between Chanel inspired tailoring, McDonalds fast food, Sponge-bob cartoons, tough embellished street wear and supermarket food packing. In honor of the collections inspirations fast food meets fast fashion, the designer has launched a 'Fast-Fashion – Next day Runaway Capsule Collection,' which consists of ten items directly taken from the catwalk show.

Selected pieces from the collection include bright red quilted handbag for 842 euros, a long sleeved red and yellow jumper for 486 euros and an short red dress for 224 euros, as well as a white t-shirt stating “I don't speak Italian, but I do speak Moschino” for 162 euros and a French fry inspired phone case for 48 euros.

The capsule collection went on sale today and is available exclusively online at moschino.com, selected Moschino flagship stores, Browns boutique in London, Opening Ceremony in New York and Los Angeles, Colette in Paris, Hudson Bay in Toronto and Luisaviaroma in Florence.
